He was predeceased by: his parents, William Black Hobbs and Mary Cooper Hood; his wife Oudia Pierson Hobbs; and his grandson Joseph Michael Dutton. He is survived by: his daughters, Sharonne H. Dutton (Butch) of Whiteville, N. C. and Sabra H. Allen of Whiteville, N. C.. He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
