She was predeceased by: her parents, Azier Edmund Norris and Loudella Norris (Skipper); and her husband Garland "Dock" Cartrette. She is survived by: her children, Ray Cartrette (Nina) of Tabor City, Jerry Cartrette (Sue) of Whiteville, Larry Cartrette (Lena) of Whiteville, Brenda Babson of Whiteville, Deborah Batten (Raeford) of Whiteville and Dianne Walker (Lloyd) of Whiteville; and her sister Patsy Ruth Hefner (Conover) of Newton. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
