She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert John and Emma Bell Sarvis Shackelford; her friend Rossie H. Ward; her stepmother France R. Shackleford; her sister Carolyn Fales; and her grandchildren, Misty Rain Ward and Daniel Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Earl Ward (Levern) of Whiteville, Michael Rossie Ward (Rosa) of Clarendon and Emma Ward (Murray) of Nakina; her grandchildren, Edward Earl Ward, Jr. (Ashley), Westly Edwin Ward, Quentin Christopher Ward (Jessica), Michallia Quinn Ward-Boger (Ralph), Flint Addison Ward (Megan), Michael Rossie Ward, Jr., Adam Ross Ward and Anna Marie Ward; her great grandchildren, Austin, Kaitlyn, Emily, Airlie, Cooper, Rowan, Lea Misty and Connor; and her siblings, Mary Memory, Annie Judy (David), Bonnie McLaughin, Barbara Cloyne, Jimmy Shackelford (Debbie), Harold Shackelford (Bonnie), Robert Shackleford (Sheri) and Billy Shackelford (Donna). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
