It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Lloyd Gore of Whiteville, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Alpheus "Ad" Gore and Ada Mable Skipper Gore; his wife Berneese McPherson Gore; and his sisters, Mary Kate Gore Hyatt and Eloise Gore Bass.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Stephania H. Cude of Concord, Jennifer H. Martin (Andy) of Whiteville, Nancy B. Adams (Yewell), Stan G. Hyatt (Maria) of Whiteville and Tracy P Bass, Jr. of Chadbourn; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lynley Harris (Kasey) of Landis, Stephen Cude of Charlotte, Joshua David of Wilmington, Allison Martin of Whiteville, Tyler Hyatt of Whiteville and Jake Hyatt of Wilmington; his pet Blue; and also Hudson.
