She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ernest Pridgen and Essie Louise Thigpen Pridgen; and her siblings, Linda Louise Nealey, William John Pridgen, James Pridgen and Robert Ernest Pridgen.
She is survived by: her daughter Sabrina Mercer Hamilton (Gary) of Whiteville; her siblings, Barbara Ellis, Maragree Donaldson of Wilmington, Magaline Strickland of Wilmington and Ricky Pridgen of Wilmington; and her grandchildren, Ashley McKeithan (Marcus), Ethan Mercer, Ayden Hamilton and Chloe Hamilton.
