He is survived by: his close friend Debra Simmons; his daughter Arabia Simmons of Whiteville; and his siblings, Karen Long of Chapel Hill, NC and Albert Solomon of Whiteville.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville (707 Vinson Blvd, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church (2290 Old N East Rd, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450).
