He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Stephens and Nancy Thompson Stephens; and his wife Lois Simmons Stephens. He is survived by: his daughter Phyllis Stephens McCormick (Perry) of Whiteville; his grandchildren, Brandie Kalinowski (Paul) of Alexandria, VA and Brian McCormick (Maria) of Holly Springs; and his great grandchild Natalie McCormick of Holly Springs.
