We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2022, at the age of 88, Carolyn Burchette of Whiteville, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Hammond; her husband Jack Burchette; her grandson Jonathan Jackson; and her siblings, Eugene Hammond, Olene Mercer, Edna Earl Bullard and Louella Hammond.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Arrington (Doug) of Mount Airy, Debra Goldston of Calabash and Michelle Hoffman (Kelly) of Whiteville; her grandchildren, April Huml, Taylor Garbarz (David), Caroline McCallum (Sam) and Grayson Hoffman; and her great grandchildren, Sophie Huml, Mia Hoffman, Matilda Garbarz and Jon David Garbarz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
