It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blonnie Cartrette of Whiteville, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Maulsby Cribb and Ola Gerotha Cartrette Cribb; her children, Randy Cartrette and Shelia Reed; and her sister Elizabeth Hayes.
She is survived by: her husband Carlton Monroe Cartrette of Whiteville, NC; her children, Debbie Hartzog (David) of Goldsboro, NC, Sherry Beck (Douglas) of Whiteville, NC and Michael Cartrette (Traci) of Whiteville, NC; her sister Helen Jernigan of Tabor City, NC; her stepchildren, Tommy K. Cartrette (Marlene) of Whiteville, NC and Beverly Jane Mobley of Surfside Beach, SC; her grandchildren, Brandon Edwards, Mason Cartrette, Cody Reed, Katelin Cartrette, Keesa Johnson, Hope Bass and Bristina Sigmon; her great grandchildren, Caden, Ella, Addison, Noah S., Brayden, Noah J. and Harper; and her pet Dusty Rose.
