She is survived by: her children, Pamela B. Matheney of Hendersonville, TN and Anthony D. Bryan (Diane) of Springfield, TN; her sister Barbara Peterson (Clark) of Wake Forest, NC; her granddaughters, Mary Matheney and Emily Matheney (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Riley Guillermo, Ronin Guillermo and Maddox Matheney-Guillermo.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Smyrna Baptist Church (4934 Peacock Rd, Whiteville, NC 28472).
