It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Hardy of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Moody and Clarice McKoy; and her sister Irene Adams. She is survived by: her stepmother Jane Moody of Kent, N. Y.; her daughters, Tanya Moody, Marietta, Tracy Hardie (Larry) and Chadbourn; her goddaughter LaTasha Billups; her siblings, Edward Moody (Tina), Edwin Dudley, Dennis Andrews (Molly), Rochester, Sharon Dennis, Sue Tart (Michael) and Rosemary Moody; her mother-in-law Evelyn Hardie; her cousins, Lydia McInnis (Jimmy), Maxine Tart, Laura Stephens, Evergreen, N. C. Jessie Peacock (Sonata) and Tyrone Nance-, DC of Washington; and her son Elvis Presley. She is also survived by four sister in laws and one brother in law, and a host of extended family members and friends.
