He was predeceased by: his parents, Camon Boyd Moore and Lula Webb Moore; his daughter Delinda Moore Odom; his grandson Robert Brandon Odom; and his siblings, Wesley Moore, Homer Lee Moore, William Lawrence Moore, Lula Estelle Moore, Etta Beatrice Spaulding, Evangeline Braxton and Noami Masei.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Susan Creech Slater of Whiteville; his son Barty Moore; his granddaughter Rhonda Lee Odom, Jr.; and his great grandchild Brandon Trayvon Odom (Trinity Blackmon).
