She was predeceased by: her parents, Haynes Dawson and Annie Louise Jacobs Graham; and her siblings, Willie Porter Graham, Haynes Almond Graham, Letcy Graham and Lydia Moore.

She is survived by: her husband David Joseph Spaulding, Sr.; her children, David Joseph Spaulding, Jr. (Michelle) of Lawrenceville, NJ, Dawson Henry Spaulding (Barbara) of Linwood, NJ, Edward Aaron Spaulding (Migdalia) of South Plainfield, NJ, Hazel Louise Spaulding of New Orleans, LA and Amelia Alita Savad (Greg) of East Brunswick, NJ; her siblings, John Dawson Graham (Otelia) of Fayetteville, Lois Barnett (John) of Plainfield, NJ and Charles Graham of Lake Waccamaw; her grandchildren, Danielle Owusu (Albert), Gabrielle Spaulding, David Jared Spaulding, III, Jalynn M. Spaulding, Kianna Spaulding, Edward Spaulding, Jr., Janay Spaulding, Aaliyah Spaulding and Sophia Parker; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Owusu and Laila Johnson.
