She was predeceased by: her parents, Al Watts and Evelyn Duncan Watts; her husband Woodrow Ward; and her son James Ward. She is survived by: her son Robert Ward (Wendy) of Loris, SC; and her grandchildren, Richard Ward, Tonya Bullock, Brandon Ward and Hayden Ward. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home Chapel (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472).
