It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Benton White of Whiteville, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Simeon T. Benton and Denzil Stephens Benton; her husband Gene D. White; and her siblings, Paul Benton, George Benton and Jewell Benton Watkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosemary W. Kaveh of Charlotte, Cynthia Ann Byrd (Russell) of Winston Salem and Gena Marie White of Whiteville; her grandchildren, Anna Grey, Will, Joseph and Julie Ann; her great grandchild Wiley Craig Helms; and her niece Julia Anne Watkins.
