He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fred Garrett, Sr. and Stella Mae Cook Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Myra Donald Garrett; his daughters, Beverly Nivens and Susan McKinney (Bill); his grandchildren, Lydia Wallis Larson (Phil), Claire Nivens Pasquinelli (Rich) and Brandon Hunter Nivens; his great grandchildren, Audrey Mae Larson and Phillip Larson, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Arlene Bell Garrett.
