She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer L. Tatum and Aleen Woodburn Tatum; her husband Roscoe F. Sessoms; her siblings, Vern Tatum and Margie Evans; and her great grandchild Jonathan Isaac Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Sholar (Danny) of White Oak, Larry Sessoms (Sandra) of White Oak and Peggy White (Joey) of Lumberton; and her sisters, Ann Dunn of White Oak, Shirley Chason of White Oak and Judy Bradshaw (Ed) of Jamestown, NC. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
