He was predeceased by: his father Wesley J. Davis; his wife Lucille Bates Davis; and his sisters, Lucille Tilley and Louise Tilley. He is survived by: his son Larry W. (Linda) of Charlotte; his grandsons, Peyton W, Preston B. Davis and Attorney; his great grandchildren, Alexis and Ashley Davis; his stepgreat-grandson Austin Hill; his sister Linda; his brother-in-law Terry Tucker; his brother Mitchell; and his sister-in-law Kay Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
