With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Hinshaw Thompson in White Oak, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvah Hinshaw and Mary Griffin Hinshaw; her husband Ray Thompson; her siblings, Alene Payne and Howard Hinshaw; and her granddaughter Amanda Stone.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Stone and Connie Harris (Jerry); her grandchildren, Heather Atkins (Paul) and Anthony Dean; her great grandchildren, Mekala White (Swanson), Kayla Dowell (Devin), Taylor Atkins, Gracelyn Dean, Macy Atkins and Raylan Dean; and her great great grandchildren, Nova White, William Black and Salem Louise Dowell.
