He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Brennan and Mary Lou Hall Brennan; and his siblings, Linda Kay Brennan, Edgar, Eldridge Brennan and LaRue Lentz.

He is survived by: his siblings, Lester Brennan of Elizabethtown, Hannah Schmidt (Ronnie) of New Jersey and Betty Smith of White Oak; and his close friends, Nicole and Kelvin Flanery. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
