We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2020, at the age of 78, Jerry Burney (White Oak, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Burney and Mabel Bryan Burney; his wife Jean Carter Burney; and his brother Franklin Hugh Burney. He is survived by: his daughters, Toni Burney of White Oak, Teresa Burney of White Oak and Jennifer "Donna" Bobby (Matt) of White Oak; his siblings, Samuel Burney (Sherree) of Summerville, SC, Glynda McLamb (Richard) of White Oak and Bonnie Meeker (Bob) of Tar Heel; his grandchildren, Justin Burney, Kayla Tipton (Josh), Michael Nunnery Jr., Christopher Batton, Autmn Laning (Zack), Matthew Bobby Jr. (Rikishia) and Hannah Bobby; and his great grandchildren, Natalie Tipton, Carson Tipton, Landon Nunnery and Dakota Burney.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the White Oak Family Worship Center, 1932 Burney Rd, White Oak, NC 28399.
