It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Newton in White Oak, North Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Zebulon Newton and Mary Alice Horton Newton; and his siblings, Douglas Newton, Coy Newton, Cletus Newton, Jasper Newton, Sr., Edward Newton, Wilburn Newton, Harding Newton, Ruth Newton Lindsey, Jewel Newton, Emma Newton Willis, Hettie Newton Bridges and Etta Newton Hipps.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Campbell Newton; his children, Joel Newton (Tammy) of Casar and Alisa Goad (Larry) of Shelby; and his grandchildren, Elliott Newton (Tonya), Carrie Timms (Josh), Winston McKee, Ian McKee, Avery McKee, Brooke Emory (Josh) and Kristin Goad. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
