With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Johnson of White Oak, North Carolina, who passed away on November 4, 2020 at the age of 77. He is survived by: his sisters, Easter M. Garvin of White Oak, NC and Willie R. Johnson (Kenneth) of Fayetteville, NC; his aunt Geneva J. McDonald; his close friend Johnnie Mae Sanders; and his nieces, Sheila McMillian, Cynthia McKoy (David), Ellen King (Thurman) and Morgan Johnson. He is also survived by three nephews.
