He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Padgett and Elzola Padgett. He is survived by: his wife Christy Padgett; his stepchildren, Brittany Costin (BJ), Gary "Alex" Miller of Wilmington, NC and David Miller of Charleston, SC; his grandson Brayden Miller of Leland, NC; his sister Veona Hicks (Dean) of Ammon, NC; his half-sister Karen of Florida; his niece Tabitha Harr (Allen); his great-nephew William; and his nephew Nicholas Hicks of Ammon, NC.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery (9724 NC-53, White Oak, NC 28399). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
