With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Porter Cook in White Oak, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 9, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edleman Phillip Porter and Aileen Stirewalt Porter; and her siblings, Edward Jimmy Porter and Martha Kaye Porter. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Cook (Tabitha) of Kings Mountain and Renee Wilson (Terry) of Lawndale; her sister Joyce Brown of Shelby; her grandchildren, Justin Cook (Bre Justice) of Kings Mountain, Dustin Wilson (Megan) of Lawndale, Zachary Wilson of Lawndale, Madison Green of Kings Mountain, Cameron Green of Kings Mountain and Ella Green of Kings Mountain; and her great grandchild Gracelynne Wilson of Lawndale.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing is required. Burial will be private.
