She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmie Marshall Willis and Lillie Mae Newton Willis; her husband James A. McMurry, Sr.; her stepmother Myra Blanton Willis; and her brothers, Johnny Ray Willis and Clyde Willis.
She is survived by: her children, James Anders McMurry, Jr. and Teresa Gettys (Roger) of Polkville; her grandsons, Christopher D. Gettys of Shelby, Sean W. Gettys (Skye) of Polkville, Jason McMurry of Shelby and Andy McMurry (Joni) of Polkville; her great grandchildren, Morgan Miller, Reese Gettys, Connor McMurry Davis, Tenley Gettys, Colton McMurry and Thea Gettys; and her sisters, Sue Pittman of Hickory, Mildred McMurry of Polkville and Mary Ellen McCarey of Youngsville.
