He was predeceased by: his parents, Campbell Acie and Helen Skidmore Wells Acie; and his siblings, Leroy Wells, Donald Wells and Annie Wells.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce Hudson (Herman), Virginia Davis, Alma Stone and Bobby Wells (Pat). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
