She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank M. and Mary F. Dozier; her husband Richard Pittman, Jr. (R. T.); her siblings, Lurene and Bill; and her former spouse R. T. Pittman.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Pittman (Gayle) of Afton, VA and Jean Pittman of Raleigh; her siblings, Daxie Dozier of Rocky Mount and Betty Jo Powers of Clayton; her grandsons, Alan Thomas (Theresa) of Leander, TX and Kevin Thomas (Ariana) of Ft Worth, TX; her niece Kathy Price (Michael) of Sims; and her nephew Greg Powers (Anne) of Clayton.
