He is survived by: his parent Edna Earl Bradley Gay; his children, June G. Carlisle (Bobby) of Conetoe and Louis Norman Gay, III (Tracie) of Red Oak; his grandchildren, Amy Carlisle Dixon (Brian), Ashley Benjamin Carlisle, III, Jesse Louis Gay and Travis Williamson Gay; his great grandchildren, Cooper Lee Dixon and Austin Carlisle Dixon; his brother Aaron G. Gay (Emily) of Rocky Mount; his niece Lynda S. Shepard (Dan); and his nephew Kent Gay.
