He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip W. Grose and Gladys Johnson Grose; his wife Sandra Carter Grose; his brother Jerry Grose; and his sister-in-law Peggy Carter.
He is survived by: his children, P. Kevin Grose of Waleska, GA and Lori Ann Oakes (Charles Jesse Oakes) of Charleston, SC; his siblings-in-law, Donald Thomas Carter of Greensboro, NC, Lisa Carter Bray (Darryl) of Pleasant Garden, NC and Bobbie Grose of Burlington, NC; his nieces and nephews, Lynn Grose, Emily Bray, Michael Carter and John Grose; and his grandchildren, Elijah Joseph Oakes and Callie Brooke Grose.
