Ruth Geraldine Garner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2024, at the age of 86, Ruth Geraldine Garner of Whispering Pines, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Duncan and Stella Westmoreland Buie; her husband Robert Thomas Garner; her grandsons, Shane Martin, Stephen Martin and Tyler Garner; and her siblings, Emily Michael, Johnny Buie, Teddy Buie and Bobby Buie.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Garner of Whispering Pines, Cathy Martin (Ernie) and Teresa Knight (Billy) of Rockingham; her grandchildren, Brandon Martin, Cody Garner and Hannah Wiseman (Collin); her great grandchildren, Abrielle Martin and Audric Martin; and her sisters, Joyce Chalflinch of Robbins and Shirley Weatherspoon (Jimmy) of Southern Pines.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 2237 Camp Easter Road, Southern Pines, NC 28387 in memory of Geraldine Garner.
