The passing of Laurel Kristine Stanell of Whispering Pines, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Milton Hansen and Louise Hansen of Park Ridge; her brothers, Donald and Ronald; and her son Patrick.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Stanell; her child Laurel; and her cousins, Suzanne Blakemore, Peter, Paul, John, Jim Benda, Jane and Chris Hansen. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and their extended families.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Springmoor (1500 Sawmill Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Olaf College.
