He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Daugherty (Doc) and Vera Daugherty; his wife Karen Daugherty; his brother Tom (Ruby Speas); and his nephew Kelly Owen.
He is survived by: his daughter Meredith Daugherty; his grandchildren, Brielle and Knox; his son Matthew Daugherty (Danielle); his grandchildren, Preston and Declan; his sister Linn Owen; his nephew Al Speas; and his niece Briana Williams.
