He is survived by: his wife Jean Silcox; his children, Laura Lee Ellis Sherrill (Phillip), George Henry Ellis, IV (Tisha) and Amy Ellis Colthorpe (Randy); his grandchildren, Hannah Sherrill Rabinowitz (Justin), Amanda Ellis Picerno (Philip), Natalie Ellis Cote' (Josh), Ellis Colthorpe (Chandler) and Madeline Colthorpe William (Simon); and his great grandchildren, Hudson, Connor Rabinowitz, Brayden, Emmeline Picerno, George Henry Cote' and Addison Watrous.
