He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Sharkany and Marie Leprich; and his brother Robert Sharkany. He is survived by: his wife Marion Studwell Sharkany; his children, Nancy Ellis, Teresa Matheson (Paul) and Gregg Sharkany; his grandchildren, Katie Coffey (Nick), Neil Ellis (Ashley) and Jennifer Odom (Terrance); his great grandchildren, TJ Coffey, Elizabeth Coffey, Madelyn Ellis and Briella Ellis; and his brother Richard Sharkany.
