He was predeceased by: his wife Lynn Painter Dillard. He is survived by: his children, David Page Dillard, Jr. and Margaret Stark Dillard. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Dillard Scholarship Fund at Duke University Medical School.
