He is survived by: his sons, Charles Emory Hammond, Jr. (Jessica) of Huntersville, NC and Walt Hammond (Leigh Anne) of Summerfield; his siblings, Nancy Gatewood of Woodbridge, VA and Bobby Hammond (Vera) of Fayetteville; his sister-in-law Joline Kinlaw of Evergreen; his wife Kathleen Randalls Hammond of Raleigh; his brothers-in-law, Danny Randalls (Vickie) of Chico, TX, Josh Randalls (Beverly) of Scranton and Andy Randalls (Shirrell) of Candler; and his stepgrandchildren, Johnathan (Kate) of Raleigh, Aimee of Raleigh, Zander of Raleigh and Colten of Raleigh.
