He was predeceased by: his parents, Dexter Marion and Ima Kirkman Nester. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Sue Frans Nester; his daughters, Paige Lynch and Susan (Donnie Inman); his grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah Inman), Daniel (Jenna Inman), Lauren (David Boyles) and Shawn Lynch; his great grandchildren, Easton, Charlotte Inman, Brooks Senter, Kinley, Brooks Boyles and Sadie Lynch; his brother Edward Nester; and his niece Donna Wood.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Westfield Baptist Church (6713 Westfield Rd, Westfield, NC 27053). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Westfield Baptist Church Cemetery (6713 Westfield Rd, Westfield, NC 27053).
