She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Holt and Ruby McHone Holt; her siblings, Haywood Holt, Racheal Owens, Mabel Woods, Adalene Adkins, Clyde Holt, Mildred Overby, James Williams Holt and Joy Holt; and her daughter-in-law Jennifer Overby.
She is survived by: her husband John Lester Overby; her children, Charlene Doss (Ronnie) of Claudville, Maynard Overby (Emily) of Lawsonville, NC, Michael Overby (Trisha) of Lawsonville, NC and Keith Overby of Lawsonville, NC; and her grandchildren, Renee Quesenberry (Richard), Ryan Doss, Elizabeth Overby, Rachel Overby, Hannah Overby and Joseph Overby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
