Leila Simmons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2020, at the age of 88, Leila Simmons (Westfield, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder Millard Vaden and Essie Martin Vaden; her husband Johnnie L. Simmons; and her siblings, Grady, Carl, Royce Vaden, Dorothy Vaden, Maphy Barker, Edith Owens and Elva Bondurant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Doris Kaye Perry (Tommy), Sandra Diane Rigney (Tony), Teresa Simmons Joyce (Garry) and Regina Simmons Wood (Mark); and her sister Earlene Harada of New Mexico. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in floral tribute or to Christian Community Baptist Church at 1180 McDaniel Road, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.
