Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gaylord Duaine Hooker of Westfield, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 80, on April 22, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Giles Eldridge and Lucy Myrtle Childress Hooker; his wife Jeanette Cox Hooker; his son Timothy Duaine Hooker; and his brothers, Conley Hooker, Homer Eugene Hooker and Gordon Hooker.
He is survived by: his children, Gwen (Paul Hampton), Duainette (Kyle Cullum) and Gray; his daughter-in-law Janet Hooker of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Rena Hooker, Breanna Hampton, Miranda Hampton, Christian Hampton, Brayden Cullum and Olivia Cullum; and his siblings, Marie Blackwell of Spartanburg, SC and Ray Hooker of Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to public health concerns, attendees are requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
