She was predeceased by: her parents, Lespie Joyce and Hattie Mickey Joyce; her granddaughter Alishia Renea Prater; and her siblings, Frank Joyce, Margie Orrel and Margaret Bowman.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Edward Hooker Sr.; her children, Thomas Edward Hooker, Jr. (Lisa), Lynn Cabeen (Dan), Donna Smith (Joe) and Tina Romayo (Frank); and her sister Nancy Burton. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to the Stoney Ridge Baptist Church General Fund.
