He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Crissman Pack; and his sister-in-law Hattie Pack. He is survived by: his children, Hilda Tate (Junior) of Mount Airy, NC and Gary Pack (Julie) of Westfield, NC; his grandchildren, Tyler Tate, Hunter Tate, Greta Pack, Nathan Pack and Dalton Pack; his great grandchild Brynliegh Tate; and his siblings, Clyde Pack (Janie) of Westfield, NC, Akers Pack of Lawsonville, NC, Jesse Pack (Pearl) of Lawsonville, NC, Odell Pack (Patty) of Lawsonville, NC and Ruby Simmons (Ricky) of Danbury, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
