It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Mae Buckner of Westfield, North Carolina, born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Roberts and Hazel Young Hege; and her husband Bill Buckner. She is survived by: her son Joe McGill (Sandra); her stepdaughters, Wanda Hazel (Jerry) and Janet Saunders; her stepgrandchildren, Jean Hazel, Teresa Kearns and Michael Saunders; her siblings, Gene, Roberts, Kathy Kidd, Judy Stevens, Phyllis Maynard and Robin Roberts Hooker; her aunt Pat; and her uncle Paul. She is also survived by several other cousins & a whole host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Mountain Valley Hospice.
