She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Harrell and Martha Harrell; her husband Dewey Merritt; her daughter June Merritt; her sons-in-law, Danny Mozingo and Pat Newton; and her brothers, Carl, Jimmy, Joseph and Ed Harrell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mardie Sauls (John), Kate Merritt and Robin Merritt; her siblings, Virginia Dare Harrell, Don Harrell and Bobby Harrell (Ann); her grandchildren, John Sauls III (Caroline), Michele Beal (Greg), Tracy Whitfield (Mark), Ashlee Williams, Michael Newton and Sierra Malpass (Hunter Langston); and her great grandchildren, Taylor Whitfield, Kristen Whitfield, Seth Beal, Alice Williams, Michael Newton, Shaley Newton and Gabriel Sauls. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Attendees are asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
