He was predeceased by: his parents, Thayer Spangler and Margaret Middleton Spangler; his siblings, Jimmy Spangler, Judy Ziglar, Dottie Lilligore and Brenda Spangler; and his stepdaughter Sheila Bordeaux.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Spangler, Terry Spangler (Van), Michael Spangler (Fran), John Spangler and Lisa Heath; his stepchildren, Kris Andrews and Rene Reece (Billy); his grandchildren, Yeshua Spangler, Summer Doss (Cody), Brianna Overby (Dakota) and Tiffanie Bankester; and his great grandchildren, Averie, Archer, Axton Doss and Savannah Holton.
