It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zandra Kay Lyalls of West Jefferson, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zane Bumgarner and Mary Lou Faw Bumgarner; and her husband Burl Loston Lyalls. She is survived by: her children, B. J. Lyalls (Jessica) of West Jefferson and Christine Farrington of Hayes; her stepdaughter Amy Tilley (Paul) of Jefferson; her siblings, Teresa Miller (Earl) of Glendale Springs, Patricia Rice (Richard) of Chattanooga, TN and Robin Bumgarner of Wilkesboro; and her grandchildren, Loston Lyalls, Adalyn Lyalls, Kenleigh Lyalls, Kaden Farrington, Madison Farrington and Ashley Tilley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
