It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Junior McGuire of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Willet McGuire; his stepdaughter Alisha Barker; and his sister Billie Mains. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Spears (Chris Johnson) of North Wilkesboro, Ariel Barker of Knightdale and Daniel McGuire (Mirriah) of West Jefferson; his siblings, Greg McGuire of Fleetwood, Wayne McGuire of Statesville, Ruby Billings of West Jefferson and Sherry Trejo of West Jefferson; his stepdaughter Crystal Hoosier; his grandchildren, Faith Spears, Willie McGuire (Faith), Eli McGuire, Gracie McGuire, Hope Spears and Saraya Taylor; and the mother of his children Deborah Calhoun. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
