We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2023, at the age of 79, William Burl Flannery of West Jefferson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Lee Flannery and Daniel Boone Flannery; and his pet Sparky. He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Killen, Lucy Riddle and Linda Pennington (Walter) of West Jefferson; his niece Janet Moretz (Mike) of West Jefferson; his nephews, Ivan Killen (Laurie) of Norcross, Eugene Killen (Sharon) of Concord, NC, Russell Killen (Diane) of West Jefferson, NC, Dean Riddle (Lynn) of Fairhope and Randy Riddle of Mebane, NC; and his pet Whiskers. He is also survived by 7 Great Nieces and Nephews, 5 Great Great Nieces and Nephews.
