It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Oliver of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rhuel Roosevelt Hayes and Sallie Veatrice Lovette Hayes; her husband Andrew Blaine Oliver Sr.; and her siblings, Gwenda Holaday, Archie Hayes and Bill Hayes.
She is survived by: her sons, Andrew Blaine "Drew" Oliver, Jr. of Mooresville, NC, Thomas H. Oliver (Judi) of Brentwood, TN and David J. Oliver (Cheryl) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Liz Oliver (Salvatore), Andrew Blaine Oliver, III (Ella), Daniel H. Oliver (Jenny), Zachary T. Oliver (Marion), Mary Kathryn Wolfe (Jeff), Dagmars S. Oliver, Joanna Leigh Kelly (Sterling) and Sallie J. Oliver; and her sister Shelby Hayes Reeves of Millers Creek. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
